In addition to its gaming software, Broderbund has evolved into a leading supplier of corporate software, family software and printing software. PrimeTime Clothing is a start-up ecommerce business founded in early 2010. Its website was brand new and responsible for driving all of the company’s leads and sales. In an effort to drive traffic to the site, PrimeTime Clothing relied heavily on Pay Per Click advertising, especially paid search ads on Google. But relying exclusively on PPC wasn’t cost-effective and limited the growth of the company.

Solution

When PrimeTime Clothing came to National Positions, it had no top 100 rankings for any of its chosen keywords. Thus, we created an organic SEO campaign to drive traffic from its most popular keyword (“wholesale online women’s clothing”) and many of its related keywords.

Watson's is a home furnishing company with locations all over the Midwest. Watson's features a wide variety of quality home resort products. Its best-selling items are above ground pools, spas and hot tubs, various pool supplies and chemicals, and casual furniture. In business for more than 40 years, Watson's is committed to offering the best possible price and selection for the customer.

Marketing Challenge

Watson's had a very strong regional presence, but it was only operating out of its physical locations. Watson’s was not generating any online revenue. The company was launching an ecommerce website and needed to create an organic online presence to drive as much targeted traffic to its site.

Solution

We created a successful SEO campaign for the top keywords related to pools and pool supplies, which are Watson’s top-selling products. Also, we successfully created a national campaign that brought new customers to Watson's from all over the country. We were able to create a national campaign by using REL canonical tags, which allowed Watson’s to use the same content for all its franchised sites. This allowed Watson’s to have consistent branding and create leads for all franchised locations, yet did not penalize the “master site” for having duplicate content. Meanwhile, we created successful local search campaigns so that all individual franchise websites ranked well locally and drove local sales.

Results

After 11 months:

  • 75% increase in website traffic in peak season
  • 103% increase in page views
